Pre-College
After being rejected from my dream Ivy League school and realizing that there was an expen$ive price that came along with the freedom of attending an out-of-state university, I accepted my fate that I was going to become a husky.
I was bummed. Not even the fact that getting accepted to the UW Honors Program made me feel any better.
On the first day of freshman orientation, I resented the fact that I was going to spend all four years here. I even made plans to transfer to another school after sophomore year. However, after the second day of orientation, receiving my husky card, and meeting some of my closest friends in college, I realized that being a husky was not so bad...
In fact, it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
